It’s A Journey…

I began on my path of creating jewelry in the mid-1980s, taking my first studio jewelry class at the University of Houston with Sandie Zilker. I continued my studies with Val Link completing my BFA in jewelry and metalsmithing in 1989.

Charles Kegley and I collaborated for many years as sculptors and metalsmiths resulting in a collection of unique pieces that are represented in public and private collections in the US and abroad. We traveled extensively, showing our work in juried events, galleries and museums around the country and our work is included in the collections of the Renwick Gallery at The Smithsonian, as well as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. For several years we had a gallery in Boerne, Texas – Bella Creo – which featured original works by contemporary artists working in a variety of media. That gallery closed in 2009.

Today, I enjoy life in San Antonio with my husband Page, contributing to the creative life of the city. In addition to working as a freelance writer, I make custom-designed pieces for the discerning collector. These one-of-a-kind works are limited, each made by hand, one at a time. In the past, my work was exhibited and sold at Equinox Gallery, Kathleen Sommers, and at Dock Space.

My current exclusive representative is Marcus Sloan at Sloan|Hall, 5934 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209.
